Projects Writings Music Something? About
1-4 cm of levitation (across multiple areas of the stage), a card trick of all my ages, sounds of transferable knowledge from my brain to the audience. 'Rollo' is a performance that is the truest exploration (that i can hope to provide) of one's own faded dreams. When I was young, I hoped to provide to the magic circle, but my own struggles to keep faith in my own ability got in the way. This quick fire medley takes a glimpse at trying to rekindle a previous version of myself, 'magically' appearing in front of my very own eyes and the audience's. A blend of physical movement, sound design and audience interaction is how 'Rollo' manifests itself on stage. Layered sounds and text blankets the performance, invested with youthful and naïve tones, with accompaniment from harsh sounds of remembrance.
